Villa Amoras in Porto Cervo Miata

Villa Amoras takes inspiration from the rural buildings of Gallura, the “stazzi”. The entire villa is built on the combination of more units built one after the other in a circle to form a sort of large inner court shielded from the mistral wind. It was common to find waterways entering the stazzi, used for domestic purposes or for the livestock. Villa Amoras transformed this waterway in a beautiful pool that mainly develops in the courtyard apart from one end going underneath one of the buildings to reappear in visual continuity to the sea. Its passing through can be easily seen through a glass floor in the living room.
The villa is built on a single level. Each window frames a chosen point of the landscape, thus establishing a visual continuity between inside and outside. A principle which becomes didactic in the large floor-to-ceiling window of the hall, over 14 metres in length, a window leading the garden, the coast, the sea and the islands into the house. The large window is framed by a bronze architrave.
The property is divided between a main building and two separate units, all built with stone. The materials used are San Giacomo yellow granite, white plaster, bronze, teak and glass. The interiors have their own autonomy, that is, each room is designed as a micro reality and the villa becomes the sum of these different micro realities; the living room take inspiration from the marine environment with an overturned boat ceiling and two sea urchin like chandeliers.
Villa Amoras meets the needs of the most demanding and exclusive jet setters. It has been designed for those who wish to be constantly surrounded by water, which in this project is conceived as the lifeblood that pervades the entire system, able to radiate in every corner of the house.
The main building consists of three major suites with dressing room, bathroom and terrace, a large living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a smaller suite with bathroom. In the other buildings there are four bedrooms each with private bathroom, a barbecue area, a fitness area and a wellness area. Heating, air conditioning and alarm are throughout the villa.
The architect Luca Scacchetti is the creator of a perfect blend of tradition and comfort: granite sculptures and wild Mediterranean bush in harmony with high technology and modernity.
This property is ideal for those wishing to spend a holiday full of authentic emotions and for those looking for a safe investment.
