The area

In 1967 the American architect Robert Trent Jones, one of the world top golf experts, was commissioned to design the 18-hole 72-par “Pevero Golf Club Costa Smeralda”.
Mr Trent Jones shaped 50 hectares of Mediterranean bush stretched over 7 kilometres from Piccolo and Grande Pevero to Cala di Volpe, Capriccioli and Romazzino. The “Pevero Golf Club Costa Smeralda” has made its international debut at the Italian Open in 1978. Since then it has hosted many prime tournaments.
Architect Riccardo Bonicatti designed the “Club House” and the “Case del Golf”. Many extraordinary villas are nestled into the greenery of the hills and benefit from a great view of the bay of Cala di Volpe.
